The Dobinsons IMS 2.6″ Monotube Shocks are engineered for serious off-roaders and overlanders seeking maximum performance and durability. Featuring a 2.6″ (66mm) heavy-duty shock body and an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) monotube design, these shocks are built to handle extreme conditions while maintaining consistent damping and comfort. Whether you’re hitting washboard trails, towing, or just cruising the highway, the IMS shocks deliver smooth control, fade resistance, and long-lasting reliability. Key features include a colossal 66mm body with a massive 50mm or 60mm bore, contributing to superior heat dissipation and precise damping control. The shock body is constructed from 3mm thick DOM tubing, honed to tight tolerances for exceptional strength. A carbon-fiber/PTFE composite wear band reduces friction and extends the shock's lifespan. The EDP coating provides corrosion resistance for long-term durability, and the fully rebuildable design ensures a lifetime of service and peak performance. Designed as a direct bolt-on upgrade, these shocks are tuned with vehicle-specific valving for optimal performance right out of the box. They are specifically designed to fit the Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ and Nissan Patrol Y61 GU models.
