IMS Rear 2.6" Internal Reservoir Monotube Shocks

The Dobinsons IMS59-60887 is a pair of rear 2.6" IMS Internal Reservoir Monotube shocks engineered to provide enhanced performance and durability for serious off-roaders and overlanders. Designed as a direct, bolt-on replacement, these shocks offer a straightforward installation for the Toyota Tundra (2022-2026+) and Toyota Tacoma (2024+), accommodating a 1.0-3.0" lift with stock/light load valving. They are fully rebuildable and re-valvable, ensuring longevity and customizability. Constructed with a DOM seamless tubing body and featuring corrosion resistance through EDP Surface Protection, these shocks are built to withstand demanding conditions. The internal components include a micro-polished, hard-chromed, and heat-treated shock shaft, a CNC 6061 Billet alloy high-flow piston for improved damping and vehicle control, and a heavy-duty 3-stage FKM HNBR sealing system for ultimate reliability. The larger 66mm/2.6” body and 60mm hi-flow piston reduce internal pressures and heat, contributing to improved cooling and damping performance. These shocks are designed to resist fade in harsh environments, including corrugated roads, demanding 4WD trips, towing, or racing conditions. Dobinsons engineers have spent extensive time tuning the shim stacks and damping characteristics to achieve a balance of comfort, handling, vehicle control, and off-road performance. The extended length is 670mm, and the compressed length is 410mm. They come with a 2-year limited warranty.
