The Dobinsons IMS59-50222 IMS Struts are engineered for demanding conditions, offering a robust solution for your 1996-2003 Toyota 4Runner 4WD. These front pair struts are designed as a direct, bolt-on replacement, ensuring an easy installation process. They boast zero shock fade in all terrains with a full load, making them ideal for off-road adventures, towing, or heavy-duty use. Constructed with durability in mind, these struts feature a corrosion-resistant EDP surface protection and a heavy-duty, single-piece lower leg. The monotube design, with a 56mm/2.2" body and a race-inspired 50mm bore hi-flow CNC 6061 billet alloy piston, enhances damping performance and heat dissipation. An enormous oil capacity further contributes to their fade resistance and consistent performance. These struts are fully rebuildable and re-valvable, allowing for long-term service and tuning. They come with a heavy-duty 3-stage FKM HNBR sealing system for ultimate reliability. Please note that these struts do not include coil springs or top mounts. It is highly recommended to have these shocks assembled by a professional to ensure correct installation and prevent potential damage to the shocks, springs, and vehicle. The coil seat should be set at 164mm (6.45") from the strut bushing eye; consult instructions or contact support if unsure. Compatibility is specifically for the 1996-2003 Toyota 4Runner 4WD models. Dobinsons offers a 2-year manufacturer warranty on shock absorbers against faulty manufacture.
