The Vitesco Technologies High Pressure Fuel Injector (Index 12) is the Original Equipment (OE) supplier injector for BMW N54, N63, and N74 engines. Previously manufactured by VDO, Vitesco has taken over production, maintaining the same high standards and Italian manufacturing. This injector represents the Index 12 revision, which is considered the most stable and "known good" version after several design updates. As a critical component for high-output turbo applications, a functioning fuel injector is essential for smooth engine operation, preventing misfires, and avoiding drivetrain malfunction codes. Replacing a failed injector is often the only solution for these issues.
