Induction Kit for BMW N55

The AIRTEC Motorsport induction kit is engineered for the BMW N55 engine, offering a comprehensive solution to enhance performance for fast road or track use. Developed in-house, this kit directly replaces the restrictive OEM air box and intake setup, aiming to improve airflow, response, sound, and aesthetics. A laser-cut heat shield is integrated to protect the air filter from engine bay heat soak, while simultaneously shrouding it to channel fresh, cool air from the front intake. The result of these improvements is an increase in power, a more immediate throttle response, a heightened induction sound, and an overall more pleasing appearance within the engine bay. The kit is designed as a direct fit, requiring no additional drilling or cutting for installation, and comes complete with all necessary fixtures, fittings, and detailed instructions. This induction kit is compatible with the following BMW models: 1-Series (F20/F21 M135i(x) N55, 2012-2015), 2-Series (F22/F23 M235i(x) N55, 2014-2016), 3-Series (F30/F31/F34 335i(x) N55, 2011-2015), 4-Series (F32/F33/F36 435i(x) N55, 2013-2016), and the M2 (F87, non-Competition only, 2016-2017). It explicitly will NOT fit the E82 135i Coupé. Additionally, due to the increased airflow, it is recommended to have the ECU remapped and the MAF sensor rescaled accordingly to prevent potential EML lights.
