Induction Kit with Heat Shield and Nanofiber Filter

The Forge Motorsport FMINDK52 is a cold air induction system specifically engineered for the 2022 onwards 1.0 TSI engine utilized across a wide range of VW, Audi, Skoda, and Seat models. Developed in response to demand following previous successful kits, this system aims to provide genuine improvements over the standard airbox by maximizing space and optimizing airflow. The kit includes a heat shield, designed using CAD, laser cutting, and precision folding, to create a barrier against engine heat and direct cold air to the filter, thus preserving low intake temperatures and increasing power output. The heat shield is finished with a black textured powder coating for an OEM look and quality. This induction kit comes with a Forge high-flow, pleated, synthetic nanofiber filtration filter, designed for optimal fit and superior flow and filtration for the 1.0 turbo-charged engine. An alternative foam filter option, manufactured by Pipercross, is also available. Dyno testing conducted with Performance Remap revealed nearly 10NM of torque gain from 2600 RPM to redline, with a notable increase between 3000 and 3500 RPM. This consistent gain from turbo spool-up contributes to sharper acceleration and a more exhilarating driving experience. Compatibility for this induction kit extends to various models including the Audi A1, A3, Q2; Seat Arona, Ateca, Ibiza, Leon; Skoda Fabia, Kamiq, Karoq, Octavia, Scala; and Volkswagen Golf, Polo, T-Cross, T-Roc, and Taigo, all equipped with the 1.0 TSI engine from 2021/2022 onwards. It is important to note that this product is not compatible with the VW Golf MK 7.5 1.0 TSI from 2017, for which the FMINDK39 is recommended. The product is also subject to a limited lifetime warranty, excluding air filters, and requires the original proof of purchase for any claims.
