The system includes a reusable oiled cotton-gauze air filter. Installation is straightforward and can typically be completed in under an hour with basic hand tools.

The Cold Air Inductions 501-0519-39-B Cold Air Intake System is engineered to enhance the performance of your 2006-2007 Chevrolet Monte Carlo equipped with the 3.9L V6 engine. It is stated to deliver up to 14 additional rear-wheel horsepower, sharper throttle response, and improved overall drivability. The system construction features a durable, textured black powder-coated aluminum intake tube paired with a sealed aluminum air box. This design aims to maximize airflow and minimize heat soak by drawing in cooler, denser outside air. For easy maintenance, a clear inspection window is integrated into the air box, allowing for quick checks of the reusable high-flow oiled cotton-gauze air filter (CF-9337). The inlet and duct components are made from high-grade silicone with stainless steel gaskets to ensure a secure, heat-resistant seal. Importantly, this cold air intake system does not require a performance tune. The product is proudly designed, engineered, and built in the USA and is backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Please note that this product is not CARB compliant and may not be legal for sale or use in California or states with similar emission standards.
