Inductive Timing Light

The Innova 3551a Inductive Timing Light is a versatile tool for automotive diagnostics and tune-ups, capable of checking timing, diagnosing no-spark conditions, and verifying electronic advance/retard. Its slim, rotating barrel design allows for easier and more precise aiming at the timing mark, enhancing usability. The patented skip circuitry test enables the light to function on systems operating up to 9,990 RPM. It features detachable leads for convenient storage and replacement, along with a built-in hand guard for protection from engine bay components. Please note that this timing light is intended for 4-cycle engines only and will not work on diesel engines or 2-cycle engines. It is also designed for 12V negative ground systems and does not support multi-spark ignition systems or MSD. For vehicles with 6-volt electrical systems, a specific connection procedure using a 12-volt automotive battery is required.
