The Industrial Injection Duramax Stage 1 Performance Camshaft w/ Key (PDM-DMXRV) is designed to help lower Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGTs) and is a "drop-in camshaft." Industrial Injection is a leading distributor, supplier, and remanufacturer of diesel fuel systems, turbochargers, and engines. They recommend checking piston to valve clearance (minimum .080" intake and .120" exhaust) when installing any aftermarket camshaft. A core return is required within 90 days for full credit.

For those seeking more aggressive performance, a Stage 2 camshaft (PN: PDM-DMXHP) is also available with a lift of .450 Intake / .450 Exhaust and duration of .258 Intake / .268 Exhaust, which has a recommended piston valve relief of .080.
