Description

The BorgWarner S500SX Turbo features twin hydrodynamic journal bearings, an extended tip technology compressor wheel, and available twin-scroll and open flow turbine volute options. It allows for adjustable compressor and turbine housing orientation, and its standard turbine inlet and outlet enable a drop-in fit for existing turbocharged applications. Other features include compressor cover recirculation grooves, optimized compressor inlet geometry, a dual machined compressor cover discharge connection (v-band or hose bead), and a premachined speed sensor mounting boss.
