The Fore Innovations 88mm Inline Fuel Filter is a crucial component for maintaining fuel system integrity, designed to be installed after your fuel pumps and before your injectors. This filter boasts a robust construction featuring Viton O-ring material for excellent chemical and heat resistance, and -10 o-ring female ports for secure connections. This inline filter offers a body diameter of 2.2 inches and a length of 5.4 inches, making it a versatile fit for various applications. It is compatible with multiple filter media options, including cellulose, microglass SSD (anti-static), and stainless steel, each offering different filtration capabilities suitable for various fuel types and blends such as gasoline, race gas, E85, E100, M5, and diesel. The cellulose and microglass SSD elements are recommended for use with Injector Dynamics fuel injectors, providing 10-micron nominal/14-micron absolute and 12-micron absolute filtration, respectively. The reusable stainless steel element offers 10-micron nominal/26-micron absolute filtration. Proper filtration maintenance is critical to prevent degraded fuel system performance and potential damage to fuel pumps. Fore Innovations filtration media exceeds Bosch fuel injector filtration requirements. The filter can be further customized with optional inlet and outlet fittings, including various AN male sizes and angles, some with 1/8 NPT sensor ports. Additional options include a mounting bracket and inlet or outlet pressure gauges.
