Description

The Innovate Motorsports HBX-1 is a heat-sink bung extender designed to address applications generating excessive heat in the O2 sensor. It utilizes a specialty heat sink design that pulls the sensor further out of the exhaust stream while maintaining correct flow for accurate readings. This is important because Bosch LSU4.2 and LSU4.9 wide-band O2 sensors are rated to operate at specific temperature ranges, and exceeding them can lead to inaccurate readings or reduced sensor life.
