The SCALE Suspension DG27-IS Innovative Series Coilover is meticulously engineered for the 2016-2023 Dodge Durango V8, offering a refined balance between daily driving comfort and elevated performance. This system empowers drivers to easily modify their vehicle's ride height, significantly enhancing its handling capabilities. Engineered with a patented scaled system, these coilovers ensure symmetrical height adjustments across all corners. Each shock absorber is equipped with 24 distinct levels of dampening adjustment, allowing for precise tuning of valving efficiency to suit various driving conditions and preferences. The DG27-IS shocks are handcrafted at SCALE facilities, assembled to meet specific customer requirements. This coilover system is designed with a double-wishbone front suspension and a rear divorced spring setup. Due to the double-wishbone configuration, a camber plate cannot be used as the shock is not directly connected to the wheel; aftermarket adjustable control arms may be necessary for additional camber adjustment after lowering. Similarly, the divorced spring design utilizes specially shaped springs, precluding custom spring rates or Swift spring upgrades for the rear application. While the shock itself does not directly influence wheel alignment, factory adjustments can be supplemented with adjustable control arms if needed. The assembly process requires no welding and the units are rebuildable, ensuring long-term serviceability.
