The Scale Suspension Innovative Series coilover shocks (MZ08-IS) are custom-built for the Mazda Miata MX-5 models from 1989 to 2005. The system allows for easy ride height adjustments, significantly improving the car's handling. Featuring a patented scaled system, these coilovers ensure precise and equal height adjustment across all corners. Each shock absorber offers 24 distinct levels of dampening adjustment, allowing users to fine-tune the valving for specific driving conditions. The front double-wishbone suspension configuration on these Miata models means a camber plate cannot be used as the shock is not directly connected to the wheel. For additional camber adjustment after lowering the vehicle, specialized adjustable control arms may be required. Similarly, the rear multilink suspension means the shocks do not directly affect wheel alignment, leaving only OEM adjustment capabilities. If more alignment adjustments are needed, consider specialized adjustable control arms. Constructed with a 6061-T6 CNC-forged aluminum body, these coilover shocks are designed for durability and performance. The assembly requires no welding and is rebuildable, ensuring a long service life. Spring rates and shock lengths can be customized to meet exact application needs.
