The Garmin inReach Mini 2 is a compact satellite communicator that provides global connectivity for users venturing off the grid. This device enables two-way messaging, social media updates, and the ability to share your GPS location with others, all powered by the 100% global Iridium satellite network. For added safety, it can trigger SOS alerts to Garmin's 24/7 professional emergency response coordination center. Built for the outdoors, the inReach Mini 2 boasts an IPX7 water-resistance rating and impact resistance compliant with MIL-STD-810 standards. Navigation is aided by a built-in digital compass and TracBack routing, which helps users retrace their steps. The device offers extensive battery life, lasting up to 14 days in the default 10-minute tracking mode, and up to 30 days in 30-minute tracking mode. It can also sync with the Garmin Explore app and website for trip planning, topographical mapping, and creating waypoints, courses, and activities.
