The REESE® Class 1 trailer hitch is designed for light-duty towing, offering a blend of style and stability. It boasts a maximum gross trailer weight (GTW) of 2,000 lbs. and a tongue weight (TW) capacity of 200 lbs. This particular hitch is not compatible with weight distribution systems. Constructed from solid, all-welded steel, it undergoes rigorous fatigue and stress testing to ensure durability and safety on the road. The hitch features a black powder coat finish over E-coat for enhanced resistance against rust and corrosion. It is equipped with a 1-1/4 inch square receiver tube opening, making it versatile for various accessories such as bike racks, cargo carriers, or small utility trailers. Installation requires drilling and the necessary mounting hardware is included. All REESE trailer hitches are tested to meet and exceed V-5 and SAE J684 standards and are backed by a nationwide lifetime limited warranty. This product contains Chromium and has a California Prop 65 warning for cancer and reproductive harm.
