The Dakota Digital VHX instrument system is designed specifically for 1987-89 Ford Mustangs, offering a comprehensive upgrade to your vehicle's interior. This bolt-in system integrates seamlessly into the stock instrument bezel, eliminating the need for modifications and providing a clean, integrated look. Whether your Mustang is a daily driver, a track-day warrior, or built for drag racing, the VHX system delivers the information you need with advanced technology. The VHX system boasts six analog gauge readings, including a 0-160 MPH speedometer, 0-8000 RPM tachometer, 0-80 psi oil pressure, 100-260ºF water temperature, E-F fuel level, and a 9-17 VDC voltmeter. Complementing the analog displays are dual LCD message centers that provide access to an odometer (one-time user settable, million-mile capable), dual trip meters (0-9,999.9), and a 12-hour clock. For performance enthusiasts, the digital message centers also offer a 0-60 MPH timer, 1/4 mile time and end speed recall, and high-speed/high-RPM recall. Further enhancing functionality, the VHX system includes built-in indicators for turn signals, high beam, check engine, and parking brake. It can also display cruise control status (if equipped) and gear position (requires optional GSS-3000 sensor, sold separately), as well as 4x4 and wait-to-start indicators (if the vehicle is equipped). The system is available with a choice of Black Alloy, Silver Alloy, or Carbon Fiber-style gauge faces, and offers red, blue, or white illumination options to match your interior aesthetic. All VHX instruments are engineered and manufactured at Dakota Digital's facility in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and are backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
