The Schrick 9038E1681-00 is a high-performance intake camshaft specifically engineered for the BMW N54 engine. This camshaft is designed for 6-cylinder, 4-valve configurations and is built to enhance the engine's breathing capabilities. Key specifications for this intake camshaft include a duration of 268 degrees, with a duration of 219 degrees at 1mm of lift. The intake peak timing is set at 125.6 degrees, and the cam lobe lift measures 7.2mm. Without considering valve clearance, the valve lift is 12mm, with hydraulic valve clearance. The intake opens at 8.4 degrees and closes at 236 degrees (at 1mm lift). Notably, the valve lift at Top Dead Center (TDC) for the intake is -0.15mm.
