Overview

Maintaining a sealed air intake system is crucial for proper combustion and optimal engine performance. A damaged intake hose can lead to decreased fuel efficiency, compromised performance, and potential engine damage.
Show original supplier description
The Genuine BMW Intake Duct, part number 13718662934, is engineered as a direct replacement for your vehicle's original intake hose. This component plays a vital role in channeling clean outside air through the air filter and into the intake manifold, ensuring proper air-fuel mixture for combustion. The intake hose is typically constructed from durable flexible plastic or rubber, materials that can degrade over time due to heat and stress. Failure of an engine air intake hose can manifest in several ways, including a check engine light indicating a lean condition, a rough idle, unusual intake noises during acceleration, and a noticeable decrease in fuel economy as the engine compensates for insufficient airflow. Replacing a damaged intake duct is essential for restoring proper engine function and preventing further damage. This intake duct is specifically designed to fit a range of BMW models from 2019 to 2025, including the X5 (M50i, xDrive50i, M, M Competition, M50i), X6 (M50i, M, M Competition), X7 (M50i, xDrive50i), and the XM (Plug-in Hybrid EV-Gas). It is also compatible with select 2026 models of the X5 and X6 M Competition and M60i variants, as well as the Alpina XB7 models from 2019-2026, and the XM from 2023-2025. The part is guaranteed by BMW's factory warranty, ensuring its quality and reliability.
