The RacingLine R600 EVO Pleated Cotton is simply the most sophisticated induction system for the new MQB ‘Evo’ models (Golf 8, Audi S3 8Y etc) with 2.0 TSI EA888.4 engines. The giant Pleated Cotton filter element doubles the standard surface area to give airflow for 600hp and beyond and is a robust 'fit and forget' unit that will last for years. Hand built in the UK to OEM standards of materials, workmanship and detailing. Developed with F1-standard CFD programmes, it has airflow capabilities to support power outputs of up to 600hp without restriction. Twin CFD-optimised front intakes extending across the front of the car help achieve lower intake temperatures and worthwhile power gains. The enormous airbox volume houses the giant domed filter, complete with thoughtful details like connection to the original factory drain tube included. The giant airbox itself is UK-moulded in factory specification PU Polyurethane. PU gives excellent heat-insulation properties, keeping airbox temps lower as well as great durability in all conditions. Every factory mounting point is retained for that perfect fit. The giant domed filter units are hand-made in the UK. This R600 has the Pleated Cotton Filter which offers a fit and forget solution with great initial power output. It’s a maintenance free filter, although doesn't have the ultimate dust-loading capacity of Trifoam®.
