This Dorman OE FIX intake manifold addresses common issues in Chrysler EcoDiesel V6 engines, such as soot buildup leading to power loss, smoke, burning smell, and IMRC system malfunction. Unlike the original design, this upgraded manifold features a deeper, more protective skirt on the sensor shroud, relocating the MAP sensor away from hot EGR gases to divert heat and soot more effectively. This design improves reliability and allows for the re-use of functional sensors (MAP sensor, IMRC motor, runner sensors) which are often bundled with OEM replacements, potentially reducing repair costs. It helps restore engine power and clear trouble codes like P2020 and P200A.
