Intake Manifold Spacer

Unlike a typical throttle body spacer, this wedge modifies the throttle body angle to achieve nearly 100% full volume through the lower pathway. It also realigns the throttle body bore to increase flow velocity and incorporates a balance plenum within the bore. This allows manifold vacuum to pull more uniformly, resulting in improved airflow and engine performance. Specific performance gains cited include up to a 10% increase in airflow on LS2 engines and up to a 10% increase in peak manifold pressure. On a stock LS3 engine, power gains of up to 18 lb ft of torque and 14 hp have been reported between 2500 and 4500 RPM. Installation is designed to be quick and easy, with an estimated time of 5-10 minutes. It is important to note that the LS3 and L99 engines require a different part number than the LS2. Additionally, users have reported potential issues when installing aftermarket air filter kits, such as K&N systems, after installing the Power Wedge. The altered throttle body angle may affect the clearance or intended angle for the air filter, though in some cases, installation with an aftermarket kit is still possible.
