The Racingline Cold-Air Intake System replaces the standard factory intake with a complete, high-efficiency, high flow intake system. It's developed for use in Volkswagen Racing cars and delivers impressive airflow gains, reducing turbo spool by up to 500rpm. The system uses a hand-built TriFoam triple-layer laminate of open-cell polyurethane foam for high filtration (below 5 microns) without restricting airflow. The intake uses a fully-enclosed black-anodized aluminum spinning which contains the high flow triple-layer cone filter. It draws cold, dense air directly from the front edge of the front panel, preventing hot engine bay air from being drawn in. It will produce a rich induction noise and the sound of the diverter valve opening will be noticeable.
