PEX Intake System Front Airbox 1.8T/2.0T EA888 PQ35 APR

The APR Intake System is a closed design that rejects power-robbin heat from the engine bay thanks to high heat deflection material. It provides an unrestrictive path for cold, dense air fed from outside the engine bay to maximize power. It uses a high-flow pleated cotton gauze reusable filter for excellent filtration without restrictions. On a flow bench, it recorded a 31% increase in CFM over the factory airbox and a 24% increase over the total system. This translates to sharper throttle response, lessened strain on the turbocharger, and more horsepower and torque. The system is modular and connects to the factory turbo inlet piping, providing substantial gains. An optional APR Turbo Inlet pipe can be added to complete the system. The PCV system connects via a billet aluminum adapter, and a flex coupler allows adequate engine movement.
