Intake Plenum

The Kinetix Racing V+ Intake Plenum is engineered to replace the upper portion of your factory intake manifold, specifically for Nissan 350Z and Infiniti G35 models (VQ35DE engines). This upgrade increases plenum volume and equalizes air distribution to all cylinders, addressing an aggressive angle in the stock design that restricts flow to the front cylinders. The result is improved airflow and potential horsepower gains. Constructed from a versatile plastic, the V+ plenum is 270% stronger than previous Kinetix versions and offers improved heat resistance, operating up to 500 degrees F and staying 50 degrees cooler than aluminum alternatives. It provides 20% more volume than the factory unit and 12% more than its predecessor, with a completely smooth underside for unrestricted flow. The plenum weighs about 3 pounds less than the stock component and retains all factory mounting points, including compatibility with the factory strut bar. Installation is straightforward, utilizing factory mounting locations. It comes with all necessary hardware, a permanently adhered flange gasket, and a new throttle body gasket. Performance gains of up to 14 RWHP are noted, increasing to 20 RWHP when paired with Kinetix High Flow Cats. The unit is capable of handling boosted applications, with a lifetime warranty up to 10 psi (and up to 30 psi for higher boost applications due to thicker gauge construction). **Please Note:** While the engine cover can be retained on the 350Z, it may not fit with the G35 or FX35 models. This intake plenum is not CARB approved and may not be legal for use on emissions-controlled vehicles in all areas.
