Intake Plenum 3.8L

The IPD Intake Plenum is specifically designed as a direct bolt-on upgrade for the 991.1 Carrera S 3.8L, replacing the factory air intake distributor while using all pre-existing hardware and the OE factory throttle body. Its improved design facilitates smoother, less turbulent, and more efficient airflow. This results in impressive power and torque gains, with the new DFI IPD Plenums delivering a power curve similar to the factory but considerably stronger from the mid-range to redline, without any power loss down low. Performance gains are rated at an additional 15 horsepower and 14 foot-pounds of torque at the wheels. The installation time is estimated at 4-5 hours and is recommended for a qualified Porsche technician. This plenum is designed to fit the 2013-2016 Porsche 911 Carrera S (3.8L). It does not fit the GTS model or 991.1 Carreras equipped with the upgraded X51 engine package.
