Overview

This restoration allows the natural voice of the intake and turbo to be heard more clearly. It replaces the OEM intake resonator, which can also hinder flow, with a smooth-bore aluminum pipe that improves airflow for increased turbo efficiency.

Show original supplier description

The Dinan Intake Resonator Delete Pipe offers an enhanced auditory experience by removing the factory sound-deadening resonator. This direct replacement upgrade allows the raw, unfettered sounds of the intake and turbo to be more prominently heard. Beyond sound suppression, the OEM component also presents a disruptive flow path that can hinder performance. Dinan replaces this with a 76mm diameter, smooth-bore aluminum pipe designed to improve airflow and increase turbo efficiency. Constructed from durable and lightweight aluminum, this pipe features TIG-welded fittings for seamless integration with factory connections. The black powder-coated finish provides a clean, nearly concealed aesthetic within the engine bay. This resonator delete pipe is specifically designed for the 2020-2024 MINI Clubman JCW and Countryman JCW models, as well as the 2019-2023 BMW M235i and X2 M35i. Installation is straightforward, directly replacing the OEM component without requiring extensive modifications. Enjoy a more visceral connection to your vehicle's performance through its enhanced intake acoustics.
