The 27WON Performance Air Intake Snorkel is engineered to optimize airflow into the intake system of your 2022+ Honda Civic Si and Acura Integra FE1/DE4 chassis. This unique design goes beyond factory specifications, aiming to provide a cooler and denser air charge to the engine. By channeling fresh air more effectively, it helps to lower intake air temperatures (IATs) and unlock the full performance potential of your 1.5T, 2.0T, or 2.0NA powered Sedan or Hatchback. The snorkel's design prioritizes smooth, uninterrupted airflow with an S-shaped duct that avoids hard bends and sharp turns, thereby minimizing air turbulence. This approach ensures the most efficient path for air entering the intake system. It significantly increases the opening for cooler air compared to the factory ducting found in various Civic and Integra trims, including the higher-performance Si models. Installation requires bumper removal on all applicable trims, and the OEM radiator ducting will need to be removed or trimmed. Acura Integra owners will specifically need to trim a bumper mounting bracket and may need to relocate or remove one of the two horns. Despite these modifications, the installation is described as straightforward, with full-color digital interactive instructions provided, and can be removed without leaving a trace on the Civic. The estimated install time is 1 hour with a difficulty rating of 2/5. Testing has shown potential IAT drops of up to 20 degrees Fahrenheit in certain conditions, with average drops around 4-5 degrees Fahrenheit over multiple runs, particularly when it's hot outside and at varying vehicle speeds.
