The Revo RA841M200000 intake system is engineered to enhance the performance of your Audi B9 A4, A5, or Allroad with the 2.0TFSI engine. The standard paper air filter in many vehicles can become a restriction, especially with increased power. Revo's oiled foam filter works by trapping dirt within its layers while allowing air to flow more freely, reducing overall restriction and extending service intervals. This filter includes an OEM top plate for a direct fit replacement into the stock airbox. The stock intake hose's corrugated design, while allowing for engine movement, can create significant airflow turbulence. Revo's silicone hose addresses this by featuring stepped internals that ensure a flush fit and minimize turbulence for a smoother path to the turbo, while still accommodating engine flex. The OE B9 A4/A5 intake hose has a small vacuum take-off; the Revo hose replicates this with a threaded self-seal barb, offering a more robust and refined appearance than standard plastic fittings. Testing conducted on a 2017 Audi A4 B9 2.0 TFSI Quattro (252ps) with Revo Performance ECU Software and hardware indicated that the Revo Intake increased vehicle performance, particularly in the higher rev range. This intake is designed for the Audi A4, A5, and Q5 models with the 2.0TFSI engine in the B9 variant, manufactured from 2015 onwards. Note that the plastic airbox lid is not included in the kit.
