It utilizes a unique inlet track and filter combination that is substantially less restrictive than stock OEM air boxes. The system includes a one-piece roto-molded airbox and a high-density polyethylene intake tube, designed using computer modeling to ensure proper mass air flow sensor calibration and often featuring a built-in velocity stack to further promote airflow. It retains provisions for the factory mass air sensor and PCV breather tube. Buyers can choose between an oiled filter or a dry filter option to suit their preference. The system is constructed from durable thermoplastic and proudly made in the USA. It is backed by Airaid's "No-Hassle" Lifetime Limited Warranty, covering defects in materials and workmanship for the original purchaser.
