Description

The Shark Racing Intake set is engineered to enhance the performance of the 2021+ K5 1.6 Turbo engine. Users can expect an increase of 5 to 10 horsepower after installation. The kit features a mandrel-bent 2.75-inch aluminum intake pipe. This pipe is ceramic coated to help dissipate heat and further reduce intake temperatures. It comes equipped with a SYSTEM-UPGRADE intake filter, manufactured in Korea. While earlier versions may have shown blue silicone couplers in photos, current kits include all black couplers without any logos. Additionally, modifications to the piping were implemented for shipments beginning January 2024, meaning the installed product might have a slightly different appearance compared to older iterations. This intake set is specifically designed for the 2021 and later model year K5 vehicles equipped with the 1.6 Turbo engine.
