Integrated Engineering Billet Steel Timing Belt Drive Gear

The Integrated Engineering IEBEVC8 is a billet steel timing belt drive gear engineered to provide a bulletproof solution for the inherent weaknesses in factory timing gears for 2.0T FSI and 1.8T 20V engines. Factory timing gears are prone to coming loose at high RPMs, leading to keyway disintegration, timing belt failure, and significant engine damage such as bent valves and damaged pistons. This product completely redesigns the factory interface, removing the weak OE gear and loose keyway in favor of a solid steel gear with a precise press-fit interface, ensuring the gear remains securely in place. Constructed from a solid block of steel, the IEBEVC8 gear is meticulously machined to ensure a perfect fit where the gear meets the crankshaft. Its press-fit design eliminates any possibility of the gear becoming loose on the crankshaft end, thereby preventing keyway shearing. The gear is finished with a bright zinc-plated coating to provide robust protection against corrosion. This upgrade is compatible with 2.0T FSI EA113 engines using OEM or aftermarket 6-bolt crank damper pulleys. For 1.8T 20V engines, it serves as an upgrade, particularly for high-power applications, and requires the use of a 6-bolt FSI crank damper pulley. Key features include billet steel construction, a press-fit interference design to eliminate failure potential, direct fitment for 2.0T FSI EA113 engines, and an upgrade path for 06A 1.8T engines. It also includes new damper bolts and a zinc-plated finish. To ensure proper installation and function, the gear must be installed with an IE/ARP crank damper bolt (ARP-06A-01).
