The Kraftwerks supercharger system is an intercooled unit designed to enhance the performance of the Mazda Miata MX-5 (2.0L). At its core is the Rotrex C30-84 supercharger, selected for its compatibility with the NC's motor characteristics. This comprehensive system includes all necessary components for safe and reliable operation, featuring a large front-mount intercooler to maintain optimal intake air temperatures. The system also incorporates Grams Performance 550cc/min fuel injectors and a Grams 265lph fuel pump for proper air/fuel ratios. An optional EcuTek tuning package is available for further customization. The Kraftwerks supercharger system provides instant throttle response and a progressive power curve that avoids the spiking or surging common with turbochargers, leading to reduced engine stress and increased reliability. The Rotrex supercharger's cooler operation further contributes to lower intake air temperatures and reduces the risk of detonation. The kit includes 2.5 mandrel bent aluminum hot side tubing, 3.0 mandrel bent aluminum cold side tubing, and an 8-row, 3.5-inch thick intercooler. Installation time is estimated at 4.5 hours. A note advises that an upgraded clutch is recommended to handle the approximate 100+ whp increase.
