The ProCharger Intercooled Tuner Kit (model 1FI200-SCI) provides a significant performance upgrade for 1999-2004 Ford Mustang V6 models. This kit includes the P-1SC-1 self-contained, gear-driven centrifugal supercharger head unit, known for its advanced technology and billet construction. This tuner kit comes with the supercharger head unit, necessary piping, mounting bracketry, and installation hardware for a basic setup. However, it explicitly does not include fuel components, electronic components, or a programmer/calibration device. Custom dyno tuning is mandatory for the system to operate correctly. The kit requires the use of 91 octane or higher fuel, and professional installation is recommended. Technical notes from the manufacturer indicate that all engine and exhaust modifications should be noted at the time of order. ProCharger is not responsible for boost levels or the quality of the tune on modified applications. Vehicles built for export or non-US spec models may require custom tuning. Due to OEM computer variability and custom modifications, dyno tuning is often required. Kits are built to order with a lead time of 10 to 14 business days.
