Intercooler

This unit replaces the factory Top Mount Intercooler (TMIC), which is often a limiting factor in modified vehicles that increase boost pressure or throttle usage, leading to heat soak and inconsistent power delivery. The GrimmSpeed TMIC utilizes a larger bar and plate core volume to absorb more heat before charge air temperatures rise significantly. Designed as a direct bolt-in upgrade, this intercooler requires no cutting, trimming, or custom piping, and it uses the same connection points as the OEM unit for a straightforward installation. It is constructed with an aluminum core and includes mounting hardware and couplers. The intercooler itself is finished in silver. This top mount intercooler offers broad fitment for a significant portion of the Subaru tuner community. It is compatible with the 2002-2007 Subaru WRX (EJ20/EJ255), the 2004-2021 Subaru WRX STI (EJ207/EJ257), and the 2004-2008 Subaru Forester XT (EJ255).
