The Genuine Subaru Inter Cooler Assembly, part number 21820AA340, is a direct replacement component designed to provide reliable performance and durability. This part, also referred to simply as an Intercooler, is manufactured to meet Subaru's strict quality standards. It comes new and is backed by Subaru's factory warranty. This intercooler assembly is specifically designed for turbocharged 2.5L H4 engines. It is a direct fit for the following Subaru models: 2006-2008 Subaru Forester (Forester Sports, XT trims), 2006-2007 Subaru Impreza (WRX, WRX TR trims), 2006-2007 Subaru Impreza STI (WRX, WRX TR trims), and 2006-2007 Subaru Impreza WRX (WRX, WRX TR trims). Installation may involve disconnecting PCV hoses and metal lines, the turbocharger inlet duct, and the vacuum hose from the air bypass valve. Removal of intercooler mounting bolts and loosening of hose clamps securing the ducts are also part of the process. Reinstallation follows the reverse steps of removal. It is important to note that this part is listed as discontinued by the manufacturer.
