Description

The Airtec intercooler is designed as a direct bolt-on upgrade for the Mini Cooper S R56, R55, and R57 models. Utilizing the latest core technology with high-flow end tank designs, this intercooler significantly reduces inlet air temperatures. Its large step core design, measuring 699 x 210 x 80>40mm, offers substantial performance gains, making it an excellent upgrade for both stock and highly modified vehicles. It is proudly made in the UK. The product is described as a great value for improving performance. Compatibility is confirmed for Mini Cooper S R5x models from 2006-2015, including the 1.6T variants with 175/184hp and the JCW variants with 211/218hp. While it's a direct bolt-on, some minor trimming of the lower grille may be required. Installation instructions are available for download.
