Its cast aluminum end caps are TIG welded to the core, providing a more rounded shape for optimized airflow and reliability. Weighing only 26 lbs, it offers a substantial performance upgrade without adding excessive weight. This intercooler is compatible with a wide range of Mini Cooper S and John Cooper Works (JCW) models, including chassis codes R55, R56, R57, R58, R59, R60, and R61. It fits model years from 2006 up to 2016, specifically for 1.6L Turbo engines. Note that prefacelift and GP2 models may require slight modifications inside the front bumper for proper fitment.
