The mountune charge pipe upgrade provides a significant 39% improvement in airflow compared to the factory Ford intercooler system. By optimizing the charge air ducting and the lower hot side charge pipe, this kit reduces system pressure drop from 8.4kPa down to 6kPa, allowing for more efficient turbocharger operation. Constructed for durability and performance, the kit includes a high-flow stainless steel lower intercooler pipe and stainless steel wire-reinforced silicone boost hoses. The hoses are Nomex-lined for added heat resistance and are available in multiple color options. Installation is straightforward and does not require drilling. The kit is designed as a direct-fit component that complements the performance of the mountune intercooler upgrade, though it is also fully compatible with the factory intercooler and original charge pipe systems.
