The PRL Motorsports Intercooler Charge Pipe Upgrade Kit is designed for the 2023+ Honda Civic Type-R FL5. This kit features a smooth-flowing, larger diameter cold-side for increased airflow, combined with a factory-diameter hot-side outlet to aid in turbocharger spool. It uses 4-ply silicone couplers throughout the design to reduce heat soak and provide strength.

Custom-molded silicone also allows for higher-flowing bends compared to metal tubing, and provides optimal fitment, even with aftermarket radiators.

The PRL Motorsports Intercooler Charge Pipe Upgrade Kit is engineered to enhance the performance of the 2023+ Honda Civic Type-R FL5, fitting all variant models including RHD and international versions. The kit's design centers on improved airflow and turbocharger responsiveness. It incorporates a larger diameter, smooth-flowing cold-side pipe for increased air volume and a factory-diameter hot-side outlet to optimize turbo spool. The use of 4-ply silicone couplers is a key feature, offering superior heat resistance compared to factory rubber hoses, which are prone to expansion, weakening, and potential leaks under increased boost or high temperatures. The silicone material also allows for custom-molded bends that promote smoother airflow and better performance. Installation does not require ECU calibration and the kit is compatible with all factory-fitment intercoolers, though a PRL Motorsports intercooler upgrade is recommended for optimal results. The kit includes a cast aluminum intercooler outlet piece, a powder-coated aluminum charge pipe with fittings for factory vacuum connections and an auxiliary service port, three 4-ply silicone couplers, stainless steel clamps, and all necessary hardware.
