Intercooler Chiller System

The Dontex Automotive Performance HOH-SRT8-IC is an intercooler chiller system engineered for 2006-2010 Dodge Challenger, Charger, and Chrysler 300 SRT8 vehicles. This advanced system integrates directly with your car's air conditioning to simultaneously provide cabin comfort and enhance engine performance. This intercooler chiller system operates by diverting refrigerant from the AC system to the chiller unit when engaged via a rocker switch. The supercharger's charge air coolant then passes through this chiller, where it is further cooled by the AC refrigerant. The resulting chilled coolant is then circulated through coolant bricks integrated into the supercharger housing, effectively cooling the compressed air as it enters the engine's intake ports. The benefit of cooler, denser air is a significant power increase. Denser air carries more oxygen molecules per volume, allowing for more fuel to be added and thus generating more power. This system is suitable for both street use and drag racing applications. Key features include the ability to enjoy both cabin air conditioning and the chiller function simultaneously, with no tuning changes required for initial operation. The system offers two modes of operation: Chiller and Cabin mode, and Drag mode (Chiller only/Race only) via a solenoid on the liquid line.
