It's important to note that this product is sold as the bottle and lid only; mounting brackets and hardware are not included and must be sourced separately. For optimal system function, especially when employing high-flow intercooler pumps, Whipple recommends installing a bypass around the degas bottle. This bypass is essential to prevent coolant foaming, which can compromise system efficiency. A bypass can be readily assembled using two Y-fittings, with McMaster part number 5463K62 suggested as a suitable option.
