The Shearer Fab SF06-02008 Intercooler was developed at the request of racers needing a more efficient intercooler for their race programs. The unit incorporates the largest 4.5-inch thick intercooler core that could be accommodated within the intake. Key features of this intercooler include billet aluminum flanges for durability, a 5-inch overall height, and 16ORB water connections for fluid flow. An O-ring is included to ensure a proper seal for the lid, and zinc-plated bolts are used for assembly. This intercooler is proudly made in the USA. With sufficient water flow, this intercooler is expected to remain efficient up to 1500-1700 horsepower, making it suitable for demanding race applications. It's important to note that if you are using this intercooler with a Hi-Ram manifold that has the older bolt pattern, a Retrofit Parts Kit will be required.
