The HPS Intercooler Hot Charge Pipe (part number: 17-122) is engineered as a performance-enhancing replacement for the stock, restrictive plastic intercooler piping on the 2016-2017 Lexus GS200t 2.0L Turbo. Constructed from lightweight, 2-1/2 inch mandrel-bent aluminum tubing, this hot side charge pipe promotes better airflow by reducing bends compared to the OEM design. This results in measurable performance gains of +6.6 Whp and +9.1 Ft/lbs of torque, while also improving throttle response and reducing turbo lag. The pipe ends are bead-rolled to ensure that the silicone couplers remain securely in place, even under high boost conditions. No permanent modifications to the vehicle are required, and the product is designed not to trigger a Check Engine Light (CEL) or necessitate an ECU re-tune.
