Intercooler J-Pipe Chargepipe Kit

The Evolution Racewerks Intercooler J-Pipe Chargepipe Kit is a direct replacement for the stock cold-side chargepipe located between the intercooler and throttle body on the S55 engine. Constructed from durable, cast 6061 aluminum, this chargepipe offers a smooth internal bend for optimized airflow and improved turbo and throttle response. The connection to the throttle body has been upgraded from the original plastic to a more robust metal flange with a c-clip. The kit includes a lifetime warranty and features a 1/8" NPT vacuum port for methanol injection, which comes plugged by default but can accept an optional vacuum fitting. Recommended for optimal installation is a new o-ring for the throttle body connection (BMW part #13717568031). This chargepipe is available in various finishes, including Mirror Polish, Brushed Silver, and Black Type III Hardcoat.
