Intercooler Kit

The ECS Tuning Luft-Technik Performance Supercharger Cooling Kit is engineered in-house to be a direct bolt-on system that enhances engine performance consistency by decreasing intake air temperature and increasing resistance to heat soak. This kit aims to drastically lower operating temperatures, providing a cleaner, more efficient engine operation. The R&D team at ECS Tuning developed this system to optimize performance and efficiency while maintaining the aesthetic expected by Audi owners. The heat exchanger core is constructed from aluminum tube and fin with fabricated 5052 aluminum end tanks. This design provides a 140% increase in frontal area (399 sq in vs. stock 165 sq in) and features a large volume, dual-pass design with dual coolant flow channels per pass. Performance data indicates a significant reduction in intake air temperatures (IAT), with a 32-degree Fahrenheit drop observed by the fifth back-to-back dyno pull under specific conditions (SC Pulley and Stage 2 tune installed, 75-degree F ambient temperature). This temperature reduction contributes to maximum gains of 19 WHP and 16 WTQ. The kit integrates with the factory heat exchanger pump and lines, and includes custom molded silicone hoses with a fluorosilicone lining. It also features dual bleed ports with billet bleeder screws for easy air removal from the heat exchanger and supercharger. This product is not for sale or use in the state of California on any pollution-controlled vehicle, as per the California Air Resources Board. The kit is specifically designed to fit the Audi B8 SQ5 Quattro 3.0T and Audi Q5 Quattro 3.0T models.
