Intercooler Kit

The Unitronic Intercooler Upgrade for the MQB Tiguan 2.0TSI Gen3B is engineered as a direct OEM replacement kit, capable of supporting 600HP and beyond. This upgrade features a substantial bar and plate intercooler core measuring 23.5" x 2" x 16.5", crafted from T5052 aluminum. The end tanks are made from T6061 cast aluminum, and the unit is TIG welded. Its design incorporates a proprietary internal fin and louver configuration, which significantly reduces charge air temperature, leading to cooler, denser air for the engine and increased performance. This intercooler offers over 60% more volume than the OEM unit and is built with integrated oil cooler hangers. Designed using in-house 3D scanning and engineering software, this intercooler boasts precise fitment tolerances, often exceeding OEM manufacturing capabilities. It installs as a direct bolt-on upgrade, requiring no trimming of the bumper or radiator support, and can typically be installed within a few hours with basic mechanical knowledge and tools. Recommended software includes Stage 1 and Stage 1+ tunes.
