The Rev9 Intercooler Kit is engineered to enhance the performance potential of your Honda Civic 1.5T Turbo or Si (2016-2021). As a direct replacement for the factory intercooler, it features a competition core with aluminum end tanks, ensuring a bolt-on installation process. Constructed from 100% aluminum, this intercooler utilizes a durable bar and plate design. Its core measures 28 inches in length, 5 inches in height (low side) and 6.75 inches (high side), with a thickness of 3.5 inches. The inlet/outlet size is OEM 2-Bolt Type, and the overall end-to-end length is 35 inches. It is designed to handle a working pressure of 35-40 PSI. This intercooler kit provides twice the cooling performance of the OEM unit, resulting in cooler, denser air being forced into the motor. This improved charge air cooling can lead to increased power and torque at the same boost level. Additionally, it features a lower pressure drop than OEM, further contributing to efficiency and performance gains.
