The PWR Advanced 68mm Dual Intercooler Kit is engineered as the ultimate cooling solution for unlocking the full tuning and performance potential of your Honda NSX NC1 (2017+) and Acura NSX (2016-2022). Drawing on over 20 years of motorsports experience from series like NASCAR and F1, PWR delivers a cutting-edge, high-performance cooling system crafted with meticulous attention to detail. Handcrafted and professionally TIG welded in the USA, this intercooler kit ensures exceptional craftsmanship and durability. Unlike the OEM intercooler's plastic end tanks, which can fail under increased boost pressures from modifications or performance tunes, the PWR kit features in-house CNC-machined billet aluminum end tanks. This robust construction allows the intercooler to withstand higher boost levels, supporting bolt-on modifications and more aggressive engine tuning. The core design incorporates Formula 1 grade turbulated tubes and hemmed/louvered R-fins. The turbulated tubes promote turbulent airflow within the core, significantly increasing heat transfer rates compared to standard laminar flow tubes. The louvered fins further enhance this by creating turbulence as air passes through the core, maximizing heat dissipation and effectively eliminating heat soak. By reducing the temperature of the air entering the engine, this intercooler enables higher and more consistent horsepower output, facilitates easier tuning, and contributes to overall engine health.
