Intercooler Kit

The Rev9 Intercooler Kit is a high-performance front-mount upgrade engineered for the Ford Mustang EcoBoost S550 models from 2015 to 2023. This version 2 kit boasts a bar and plate core design with all-aluminum tig-welded construction, offering a significant upgrade over stock components. The intercooler provides 50% more airflow volume than the previous ICK-070 V1 model, ensuring optimal engine performance. This results in greater power and torque output, even at the same boost levels. With a maximum horsepower capacity exceeding 700HP, it is suitable for demanding applications. Key specifications include a 21-inch core length, a core height of 5.75 inches (lower side) to 10.75 inches (taller side), a 2.5-inch inlet/outlet size, and an approximate end-to-end length of 28 inches (30 inches on the silver model). The core thickness is 6.5 inches, or 5.25 inches for the silver variant. Designed as a direct replacement for the 2.3L EcoBoost engine in the 2015-2023 Ford Mustang, this kit allows for the retention of OEM active grille shutters. Rev9 Intercooler Kits aim to provide twice the cooling capability of the OEM intercooler with a lower pressure drop, ultimately generating more power and torque.
